Relative Dynamics Inc. is seeking to hire a Deputy Instrument Manager to support the LandIS Instrument Manager in the management of the Landsat Next Instrument Suite.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Effectively plan and manage the SC procurement process.
• Provide review of all SC procurement documentation.
• Update the SC SOW, CDRL, GFE, DIL and evaluation criteria for the spacecraft procurement.
• Collaborate with procurement on strategy development and provide technical expertise for input on procurement forms and memorandums.

What You'll Need:

• Develop and advise on LandIS project planning.
• Support and monitor cost, schedule and resource planning for LandIS.
• Provide the technical management for LandIS.
• Provide technical expertise to the LandIS contractor (Raytheon) and to the LandIS government systems engineering team as well as LNext mission systems engineering team.
• Manage the interface with the LandIS and Spacecraft.
• Ensure that the LandIS produces all required products and meets performance requirements.
• Maintain contract documentation including the LandIS SOW, CDRL, Deliverable Items List, GFE list.
• Identify, and anticipate in a timely manner, potential risks and issues and advise mitigating measures.
• Provide solutions and advise on anomalies.
• Review and Manage Raytheon contract deliverable items for compliance.
• Identify continuous improvements and lessons learned.
• Maintain communication and reporting with LandIS Manager, LNext Project Management, Project Scientist and LandIS systems engineering team.
